Though the book contains a lot of code, two things are disappointing. First, DOM is implicitly suggested as a preferred means for working with XML

The CD includes numerous code examples, as well as a sample e-commerce database catalogue in XML. Readers also get a demo Java 2 Enterprise Edition-compatible Web server, called TomCat, and an SQL database server (HyperSQL).
